This Memorial Wall is Dedicated to all Pets Who've Been Touched by Cancer Our Memorial Wall has been growing with its sad legacy of dogs and cats lost to cancer. Because of our hike, we are no longer able to add photos to this wall. This does not mean the wall has ended! We have just moved all new additions to Flickr to make it easier for us to maintain the website while on the road. Flickr is a free website for uploading photos and is associated with Yahoo. If you join Flickr (many of you may already be members), here is how to add to the memorial wall. Follow the simple Flickr instructions on how to upload a photo of your dog or cat. You will be able to write a description and say whatever you like. Try and bring your loved one alive again for us, so people will see what we are losing daily to cancer. Go into as much detail as you care to. After uploading, go to http://www.flickr.com/groups/cancerpetmemorial/ On the right hand side, it will say, "Join This Group?" Select that. Now go back to your home page and click on the photo you uploaded. Above the photo, there are descriptions of what you can do with the photo. The second one is "Send to Group." Click on that and send the photo to the Cancer Pet Memorial Group. Taken as a whole, these instructions look difficult, but I promise you, Flickr is one of the easiest websites you will encounter. AND if you do have trouble, I have a volunteer providing technical support. Just send an e-mail to cancerpetmemorial@yahoo.com Thank you very much.
If you would like your loved one to be a part of another Memorial, for a $25 Donation, their name will be woven into my apparel and carried by me and my boys 2,000 miles to raise money for cancer prevention.
